Monday Rush

So as many Mondays go, the day slipped by in a sleepy but harried fashion, until, lo and behold, it is almost 10:30 at night with nothing to show for it but your unfinished English homework. Sigh, typical beginning-of-the-week blues.

I was unable to take any pictures of what I ate today, because I am lame, but a brief synopsis of today's pickings:
For breakfast: standard Kashi, fruit combo
Lunch: carrot, iced chai tea, piece of chai tea cake, yogurt with almond butter, chai seeds, and Bear Granola Peak Protein
Snacking throughout the day consisted of more granola, Greek yogurt with honey, and chai cake
And, of course, several apples(:
Dinner was a delicious but massive mix of red quinoa, beans, Trader Joe's Salsa Verde, and alott of greens.

Although aiding me in my procrastinating, today I thoroughly enjoyed reading I Don't Want to Be Crazy by Samantha Schutz. The way she relays her struggles with anxiety is intense and honest. Quite a good read.

Also to round out the day, some yoga. How I adore that class. Even waiting in the cold for my ride home is worth that hour of bliss.

And now, English definitions. The joys of being in high school.
